Due to our huge database of trucks and reliable trucking companies seeking loads in the USA. We are seeking one time freight shipments; expedite shipments, and regular truck loads both LTL and TL freight shipments!
Common trucking terminology and transport terms.
LTL (Less than Load) - Shipments that are less than 5,000 lbs. and take up less than 12
feet of a truck.
TL (Full truckload) - Shipments and partial truck loads that are 5,000 lbs. or more or take up over 12 feet of a truck.
Load Matching - A truck load matching, freight matching or load posting service. A service to match available loads from shippers to available trucks or trucking companies. Load matching is typically categorized as a shipper or freight broker posting available loads or expedite freight on load boards for contract carriers to view and bid for.
Bonded - Freight moving In Bond may not be included in the same shipment on the same bill of lading and shipping order with freight not moving in bond.
What is a Load Board? - An online load board is a shared database for shippers and trucking companies. Usually a load board database is created allowing freight shippers, including freight brokers, to post freight that needs to be delivered.Freight Broker - A person who sells freight transportation without actually providing it. Usually refers to agent for TL shipments, matching small shippers with freight carriers.
Expedited delivery or JIT - (Just in Time) - Time sensitive/urgent freight shipments.
